The Lakehead Thunderwolves mens hockey team training camp enters its second week and the players and coaches are hard at work preparing for the upcoming season. The team will be staging an East/West Intersquad Game this Thursday evening from 8:30 - 10:00 pm at the Tourmanent Centre and the game is open to the public free of charge.
Team West:
Goal: Kyle Moir.
Defence: Andy Zulyniak, Matt Jacques, Drew Kivell, Jordan Smith (Freshman), Mitch Maunu.
Forwards: Brad Priestlay, Matt Maisonneuve, Devin Welsh, Mark Soares, Richard Molenaar, Kris Hogg, Konrad Breutsch, Mike Wehrestedt, Joe Nigro, Curtis Sandberg, Chris Thorpe.
Team East:
Goal: Chris Whitley, Matti Korhonen.
Defence: Jordan Smith (Sophomore), Pierre-Marc Gilbault, Dan Rogers, Steve Rawski, Steve Kapolnas.
Forward: Tobias Whelan, Brock McPherson, Andrew Brown, Scott Dobben, Ryan Maunu, Shandor Alphonso, Kristoffer Karlson, Dan Speer, Jeff Adduono, Nathan Breukelman.
There have been no cuts made at the training camp after one full week. The four following players have withdrawn from camp:
