The No. 3 Lakehead Thunderwolves will stage the third annual Bell Varsity Cup Dec. 28-31 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay. Joining the host Thunderwolves are the defending champion UNB Varsity Reds, the No. 6 Manitoba Bisons, and the No. 11 Ottawa Gee Gees. The tourney will again be round robin with each team playing each other once during the first three days and the two teams with the best records facing off on New Year's Eve day to try to capture the Bell Varsity Cup.
