INDIANAPOLIS The Indy Fuel, ECHL affiliate of the NHLs Chicago Blackhawks and the AHLs Rockford IceHogs, announced Wednesday that they have signed former Lakehead defenseman Nathan Bruyere for the 2016-17 season.
Bruyere, 24, played two seasons with Lakehead University, where he scored 11 goals and added 15 assists in 56 games from 2013 to 2015. Before joining the Thunderwolves, the 6-foot-4, 245-pound blueliner from Eagle Lake, Ontario spent three seasons with the OCN Blizzard of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
