Lakehead Athletics is very happy to announce that Brock McPherson has committed to the Thunderwolves mens hockey team and will begin play with the team beginning with the T Bay Tel Varsity Cup holiday tournament running Dec. 27-30.
The big left winger played for the Notre Dame Hounds of the SJHL and then played three seasons for the OHLs Brampton Battalion and the Belleville Bulls. The 6 1 222 pound Toronto native is a big and fast power forward who is a strong two-way player.
Lakehead mens hockey Head Coach Pete Belliveau said McPherson will add more skill and depth to the Wolves roster. Brock will give us a talented power forward with good hands and will improve our forward depth line-up.

Lakehead Athletics regrets to announce that mens hockey player Donnie Mitchell has withdrawn from the Thunderwolves due to medical reasons. Mitchell was one of the pleasant surprises of the Wolves tryout camp as his speed and quickness earned him a spot on the roster as a walk-on player.
Lakehead mens hockey Head Coach Pete Belliveau said Mitchells efforts on behalf of the Woves were appreciated. We wish Donnie all the best with his future endeavours.
