This season; Speer placed first with 47 points, McPherson second with 46 points, and Soares tied for third with 44 points; tying the same result by the 97-98 then York Yeomen (now Lions) and the 79-80 UBC Thunderbirds and the 68-69 Alberta Golden Bears.
