Lakehead to Open the 2024-25 season with 4 Exhibition games.
Lakehead will hit the road to kick off the Pre Season on Fri Sept 13 when they will visit the York Lions. Game time will be an early 4pm start.
Lakehead is 2-0 all-time vs York Lions and out scored them 13-3 in those games.
On Saturday the Wolves visit the Toronto Metrepolitan Bold in a matinee game at 1pm.
This will be the first pre season meeting between the two clubs.
Lakehead will then hit the road two weeks later when they head to the Manitoba Capital of Winnipeg to play a pair of games against the Manitoba Bisons.
The first game is on Friday September 27 at 8pm EST. The second game of the trip will be played on Saturday September 28 at 3pm EST.
The Thunderwolves are 13-8-1 all time vs the Bisons. They have outscored them 87-77 in the 22 exhibition games they have played.
Then the Thunderwolves will return home to open the Regular Season on Oct 4th and 5th at the Fort William Gardens against the Toronto Varsity Blues with game time being 7pm both nights!
