Lakehead will host the Brock Badgers in a crucial series this weekend.
With the OUA West being as tight as it is the Thunderwolves will be looking to secure 4 crucial points this weekend as they host the 6th place Brock Badgers.
Brock is coming in having won 3 straight games and looking to continue their hot streak against the Thunderwolves who have come off of a tough weekend split having beat the 2nd rank Concorida Stingers in a shootout and dropping a tough decision to the Ottawa Gee Gee's.
Lakehead is 32-14-4 all time against the Badgers and have out scored them 186-136 in those contests. In last years meetings the Badger's swept the Wolves in St.Catherine's by scores of 5-2 and 3-2 (OT).
The Badger's are lead by Holden Rogers with 14G and 13A for 27 PTS and Ethan Sims with 7G and 13A for 20PTS. In net Samuel Vyletelka and Will Hambley have split the duties and sport a combined 10-9-3 record with a .895 save percentage and a 3.08 G.AA.
The Wolve's Olivier Pouliot will be looking to contiue his goal streak having scored 3 goals in the last two games and Christian Cicigoi and Carson Cherapak will look to continue their stellar play this weekend.
Friday night will be Jeresy Auction night in support of the Our Hearts at Home Campaign and Saturday night will be Senior night for our graduating players. Game time is 7pm both nights.
