Lakehead hits the road to Quebec to play the UQTR Patriotes and the McGill Red Birds this weekend
Lakehead will be looking to find as many points on this difficult road trip as they can with 1st place in the OUA West within their grasp as UQTR and Mcgill are playing good hockey right now.
Lakehead starts the weekend in Trois Rivieres to play the Patriotes. UQTR has won 4 of their last 5 games and currently sit tied with McGill for 5th in the OUA East.
Last season's meeting at the Gardens was not won the Thunderwolves want to remember as the Patriotes came back and won 6-3.
Lakehead all time against UQTR is 1-9-1. UQTR has outscored the Wolves 61-33 in those 11 contests.
On Saturday the Wolves will be in Montreal to play the McGill Red Birds.
The Red Birds have won 1 out of their last 3 but the 2 losses have been by only 1 goal. In last seasons meeting the Wolves defeated the Red Birds 5-3 on Teddy Bear Toss night.
Lakehead all time against McGill are 3-6-1 and McGill has outscored them 46-29 in the 10 contests.
