Your Lakehead Thunderwolves head to the province of Manitoba to the city of Winnipeg this weekend for a pair of Non-Conference games.
There first game on Friday September 23 will be against the Manitoba Bisons at 8pm eastern time. The Bisons have played two exhibtion games so far against two of their Can West rivals and are 2-0 after picking up wins against the Regina Cougars by a score of 4-3 and against the MacEwan Griffens by a score of 5-4.
The Wolves will the play their second game of the weekend will be on Saturday September 24 at 6pm eastern time against the Regina Cougars. This game will also be played in Winnipeg. The Cougars have played four exhibition games so far and are 1-3 in those contests. They posted back to back losses to there provincal rivals the Saskatchewan Huskies by scores of 5-3 and 3-0. They fell short against the Manitoba Bisons 4-3 and their lone win came against the MacEwan Griffens, 4-1.
