Lakehead on the road to face Laurier

The Lakehead Thunderwolves are in Kitchener this weekend to face off against long time Rival the Laurier Golden Hawks for a pair of games.

Lakehead is coming off of a 4-3win on Friday and big 8-1 thumping of the York Lions last Saturday night in front of a season high 3440 fans.

In last seasons meetings the Golden Hawks swept Lakehead with scores of 4-2 and 3-1. Lakehead will look to keep on rolling this weekend. Laurier is coming into the series on a three game losing streak with losses to Brock, Guelph and Waterloo.

All time Lakehead is 30-25-3 against Laurier and outscoring them 179-165. 

Joe Mack has the hot stick right now for Lakehead after tallying 5pts against York last Saturday and will hope to keep the scoring going. Christian Cicigoi is also on his game right now picking up 2 wins last weekend and will also look at continuing  his solid play between the pipes.
