The Thunderwolves got behind early in the first and could not recover falling to the Lancers.

Windsor would strike at the 2:50 mark of the first period on a rush into the Wolves zone the puck would get to Keegan McMullen and he would fire a backhander at Cicigoi and it would find its way in for 1-0 lead.

Johnny Ulicny would add to the Lancer lead with a hard wrist shot from the right circle that would beat Lakehead's netminder top shelf.

Ty Teows would pick the pocket of Riley Sharun and bang it past Cicigoi only 41 seconds after the second goal to put the Lancers up 3-0

The game would get chippy after this with the teams racking up a total of 49 minutes in penalties.

Lakehead would get on the board in the third when Josh Van Unen would step into a Nicholas De Grazia pass and blow it past Nathan Torchia to cut the lead to 3-1 but they would not get any closer as the Lancer's would hold on for the win and the series split.
