Lakehead falls 4-2 the McGill
McGill came out ready in the first and at the midway point of the of the period the Red Birds Charles Boutin, Brandon Frattaroli and Xavier Fortin would all score in a 2:43 span on Lakehead starter Carson Cherepak. who was chased from the net at that point and replaced by Christian Cicigoi.
McGill would up the lead to 4-0 in the second when Brandon Frattaroli would get one past Cicigoi.
Lakehead would finally break the ice shortly after when Justin Paul would knock home a rebound from a Luca Fasciano wrap around attempt past McGill netminder Shank.to cut the lead to 4-1.
Lakehead would cut the lead to 4-2 when Olivier Pouliot would slip a Nicholas De Grazia pass past Shank but would not get any closer as McGill would hold on for the win.
