Lakehead ran into a wall in Patriotes netminder William Grimard and they could not figure him out and fell 3-0 to UQTR.
UQTR got off to a quick start in the first period when they took advantage of early powerplay and Vincient Milot-Ouellet was the one to slip the puck past Christian Cicigoi to go up 1-0.
Both teams would exchange scoring chances in the period but to no avail and the Patriotes would go into the break with the one goal lead.
The second period would see the Patriotes go up 2-0 off of the stick of Zachary Gravel.
The third would see UQTR put the game away when Anthony Munroe-Boucher would strike late to put the Patriotes up 3-0 which would be the final.
