Lakehead was lead by Justin Paul to a 4-3 win over the York Lions.
Justin Paul would get 2 goals in the first period as well as an assist on Liam Whittaker's frist period goal for a 3 point night.
York would answer back in the later part of the 1st period with two shorthanded goals from Thomas Lacombe to send the teams to the break with Lakehead up 3-2
Lakehead's Keighan Gerrie and York's Chase Sandhu would exchange goals in the second period to make the score 4-3 after 2 periods.
The third period would see both teams exchange scoring opprtunities but neither would score and the final would be 4-3 for Lakehead.

Lakehead and York will kick off the 2nd half of the regular season Saturday night at the Fort William Gardens at 7pm. It is also Pride Night on Saturday night and there will be giveaways and prizes at the game.
