Lakehead drops 3-2 decision to the Bisons

On Saturday afternoon Lakehead would come up short dropping a 3-2 decision to the Bisons.

Stotts would get the Bisons on the board midway through the second period beating Carson Cherepak.

Malte Hasselgren would get his second of the weekend finshing off a pass from Richard Whittaker to tie the game up.

Manitoba's Zaplitny would put them back in front late in the second period slipping one past Lakehead's netminder Cherepak.

Zaplitny would get his second of the game early in the third period finishing off a pass from Bruce to put the Bison's up 3-1.

Lakehead's Jack Cook would get his first goal as a Wolf blasting a shot pasrt Hawrycuk to cut the lead to 3-2.

Lakehead returns home to the friendly confines of the Fort William Gardens to open up the regular season on Oct 4th (Homecoming Game) and 5th as they host the Toronto Varsity Blues with game time 7pm both nights.
