Lakehead returned from the Christmas Break with a strong performance against Windsor.
Lakehead would open the scoring midway through the first when Tyler Ho would tap in a Kyle Auger pass into the yawning cage after Windsor's Dakota Lund Cornish was caught out of position.
That would be all the scoring in the first with Lakehead out shooting Windsor 14-7.
Windsor would strike first in the 2nd period 3:41 in when Brady Putaki would beat Max wright to tie the game up at 1.
Lakehead would respond :11 seconds later with Kevin Stiles putting a Greg Smith pass past Lund Cornish.
Ben Badalamenti and Josh Van Unen would also tally for Lakehead in the 2nd period. Windsor would see a short handed goal from Grant Spence and Anthony Stefano would get the Lancers within 1 with less then a minute left in the period to make the score 4-3 Lakehead heading into the break.
Joe Mack and Kyle Auger would pick up markers in the 3rd period to make the final 6-3 in favour of Lakehead.
Max Wright and Christian Cicigoi split the game in net for Lakehead.
