Lakehead Head Coach Pete Belliveau said it was a very successful tour for his team. "It was a great weekend! We got to try a lot of combinations and see how our veterans and rookies meshed together in game situations. I wasn't disappointed with our loss to UQTR because the guys played hard and took the play to UQTR. I really liked our intensity throughout the three games and I think it really showed last night against McGill and this afternoon against Ottawa."
Lakehead will play its first games at home next Friday and Saturday nights when it welcomes McGill to Thunder Bay forthe Redmen'sfirst ever visit to the Fort William Gardens.
