Lakehead fell behind early but rallied to comeback and beat the TMU Bold 4-2 to complete the weekend sweep on the road.
TMU's Julian Fantino struck 3:56 into the period on the powerplay to give York the early lead.
Lakehead's Josh Van Unen would get his 2nd of the weekend on the powerplay finishing a feed from Olivier Pouliot to tie the game at the 6:51 mark of the period.
TMU would regain the lead early on in the second period on the powerplay when Tyler Savard would beat Lakehead's Carson Cherepak at the 3:57 mark.
Spencer Blackwell would get things going for the Wolves when he completed a beautiful pass from Justin Paul passed TMU netminder Sergie Litvinov to tie the game up at 2 a piece.
Lakehead would continue to pressure which would lead to Keighan Gerrie breaking the tie rifling home a Olivier Pouliot pass to put the Thunderwolves in front 3-2.
Josh Van Unen would add an insurance marker in the 3rd period to seal TMU's fate and give the Wolves the win and weekend sweep.
