Lakehead Thunderwolves after clinching the first round bye on Thursday with the win over Windsor have now cliched 1st place in OUA Western Conference after Windsor lost to Western 5-3 this afternoon.
With the first tiebreaker being ROW (Regulation vs OT wins) which both where tied at 18 a piece. The Wolves had the 2nd tiebreaker on Windsor which is winning the season series 2-1.
Now the Wolves will sit back and wait until the second round to see who they play.
