Today, Lakehead Athletics representatives (Associate Athletic Director) Jaimie Mintenko and (Hockey Operations Manager) Kody Anton proudly presented a cheque for $5,312 to Special Olympics Thunder Bay. The donation comes from unclaimed funds from our 50/50 draw on February 14, 2024, and we couldn’t think of a better organization to support.
Special Olympics Thunder Bay continues to make a difference by empowering athletes with intellectual disabilities through sport, inclusion, and community engagement. We’re honoured to give back and help create more opportunities here in Thunder Bay.
